I'm Gavin Skinner — a solo acoustic musician playing the rock songs people already love, mixed with originals of my own. Bars, breweries, wineries, backyards and weddings around South Jersey and beyond.
About
Familiar songs, played honestly.
My set is built around acoustic rock — the songs a room can sing along to without being asked. Classic rock, 90s alternative, modern rock and the occasional deep cut, all arranged for one guitar and one voice so nothing gets lost in the translation.
I also write my own material. Originals slip into the night alongside the covers, and if you're listening closely you'll catch them.
Every show is scaled to the room: quiet and conversational for a dinner crowd, loud and driving for a Saturday night bar.
No backing tracks, no laptop. Just a guitar plugged in, a voice, and a set list that reads the room as the night goes on.
